Filtering for Net New Accounts
If your team has an active Salesforce Connector integration, you'll be able to filter any Smart List for accounts based on whether or not they're in your Salesforce.
To use these Salesforce filters:
-
Create or edit a Smart List
-
Click Add Rules
-
Select the Salesforce Records rule, and click "Add Rule"
-
Edit the ARE/ARE NOT option to filter the list based on whether or not a company already has a record in your Salesforce. (Setting the rule as "Salesforce Records ARE In My Salesforce" will filter for companies that are already in your CRM. Setting the rule as "Salesforce Records ARE NOT In my Salesforce" will filter for companies that don't already have a record in your CRM).
-
Save your Smart List!
Exporting Net New Records
When you apply the Salesforce Records rule to your Smart List, clicking EXPORT DATA to export the Smart List will automatically export only the companies you've filtered for.
You can still choose to export only net-new accounts, even if you don't explicitly add the Salesforce Records rule to your Smart List. When you click EXPORT DATA to export a Smart List, you can select "Export only companies not yet in my Salesforce."
If you select this option, we'll only export companies in your Smart List that don't have a corresponding record in Salesforce.
Getting Alerts for Net-New Accounts
If your team has an active Salesforce Connector integration, we'll automatically include information about net-new accounts in any Smart List Alerts you sign up for. (Read more about the Alerts feature here.)
Every time you receive a Smart List alerts email:
-
We'll tell you how many of the newly added accounts are not yet in your Salesforce
-
Include the number of Salesforce records each company already has in your CRM in the changelog list
